Wires Crossed is built around a smooth walking bass with drums, keyboards synth and guitars weaving themselves around it. It has become Titus Waldner’s trademark to craft music that’s very polished and oozing with cool, yet still making it sound relatable and warm to the listener. The track's lyrics - which are sung both in English but include a verse in German - speak of, according to Titus, “two people who haven't seen each other for a long time, and despite often getting into awkward situations, enjoy and appreciate being together". It’s a charmingly romantic tune that hits all the right quirks and chords without ever going overboard.
